NEO unveils Edge ZD2UW as world’s most affordable Ultrabook with Ivy Bridge, hybrid storage, and built-in optical drive


With all of the Ultrabooks that have been coming out lately, you’re liable to think that you’ve seen them all. Well, you haven’t seen this one from local notebook manufacturer NEO yet, that’s for sure. Philippines-based NEO has decided to get in on the Intel-powered Ultrabook bandwagon with its own ultra-thin offering in the form of the NEO EDGE ZD2UW. Pushing for the most affordable Ultrabook designation, the NEO EDGE ZD2UW packs most of the features you would expect to see in a standard Ultrabook nowadays. And what’s more,
its suggested retail price checks out at just $788 USD (33,999 Pesos). The NEO Edge ZD2UW Ultrabook’s highlights include an 8.12mm thin profile, metallic gray aluminum casing, and sub 1.8 kg weight.
